The energy transition is in full swing, which is why Siers is looking for professionals with diverse electrical backgrounds.

As a Junior Grid Expansion Engineer, you will help expand the electricity grid. Together with your colleagues, you will work on designing new routes for power cables. You will use programs such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS, and you will also assist with administrative tasks and data verification.

What we require:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering

Volunteering and/or work experience in technology is an advantage

Drafting experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS

Currently receiving government benefits (you will retain these during your training; once you start working, you will receive a salary)

Dutch language proficiency level B1 or higher

Refugee status (statushouder) or temporary EU protection status (such as Ukrainians)

Valid Dutch driver's license is preferred

Maximum 40-minute travel distance from Oldenzaal

What we offer:

• Scenario 1: You start with a preparatory training program of 12 to 16 weeks through Energy Skills (depending on how quickly you pick things up). You will retain your benefits during this period. After that, you will start at Siers, where you will receive a salary.
• Scenario 2: You already possess the necessary technical knowledge, experience, and certificates, and you will start directly at Siers. You will receive a salary from day one.
