Do you love Spanish cuisine and enjoy the challenge of creating exciting food and wine pairings? Walsjérôt is one of Rotterdam’s trendiest wine bars, offering no fewer than 70 wines on tap alongside an exciting menu of Spanish tapas, platos and delicious Basque pintxos.

To strengthen our team, from 1 October 2026 we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic:

Experienced Cook / Chef de Partie (approx. 27 hours per week)

Your responsibilities include:

• Independently preparing and organising a perfect mise en place
• Keeping up the pace during busy service
• Working with the head chef to continuously create surprising new pintxos
• Developing new seasonal dishes for the menu
• Working with our sommeliers to create exciting food and wine tastings

Our ideal candidate:

• Enjoys working in a small team, making every afternoon and/or evening a success together
• Is organised, precise and comfortable working under pressure
• Has a relevant vocational qualification or equivalent level of experience
• Has demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
• Holds a HACCP food safety certificate
